Bush Prakash P. Eng.

Bush Prakash currently serves as Chief Technology Officer of The GQI Group, an organization engaged in providing world class ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 education, consulting, and software services.

Bush has a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) degree from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (1984) and is a registered professional engineer in the Province of Ontario, Canada (APEO, P.Eng.). A senior member of the American Society for Quality, Bush Prakash has formerly held ASQ certifications as a Quality Engineer (CQE) and Quality Auditor (CQA) and Lead Auditor with IRCA (UK). From 1996 to the present day, Bush Prakash has conducted well over 300 audits (ISO 9001 and QS-9000) in the capacity AIAG QS-9000 Third party Auditor, Registrar Lead Auditor for ISO 9000 systems and various consulting assignments. 

During Bush’s career as a management professional, he has worked in several sectors servicing the chemical, food, drug, aerospace, automotive and construction industries. In the 25 years of Bush’s plant level quality, environmental and health and safety management experience, he has assisted several companies (in the capacity of employee, manager and consultant) in the implementation of standardized and integrated quality, health, safety, environmental systems and information systems technology, leading to reduced paperwork, reduced bureaucracy and improved organizational responsiveness. Of particular note, is his ability and experience with the development of integrated management systems.

Bush Prakash has served as a technical advisor to a global Registrar and was an active member of the Technical Advisory Committee of this organization. He has trained numerous registrar auditors how to interpret and audit to the ISO 9001standard. Bush Prakash served as a key developer of all GQI training products including the Automotive Core Related Tools, RAB accredited courses including the RAB Approved ISO 9001 Transition Course. Bush is an active member of the Software Development Team of GQI’s R&D Center.
